A friend gave me the first book in this series introducing me to a whole new genre of books. I've been looking forward to reading #2 since the moment I finished #1. I wasn't disappointed as I was brought back to Falcon and quickly lost in the unfolding story. Trentham's ability to intertwine social commentary, family dynamics, high school football, and romance kept me turning the pages. I couldn't put the book down! My friend and Trentham are turning me into a romance reader, one book at at a time. I'm looking forward to my return to Falcon in #3. I just read on Trentham's website that Book 1 of her next series will be out soon. I'll definitely read that too! I strongly recommend Trentham to anyone who loves to get lost in a story, even if romance isn't what you typically grab off the shelf.

I usually read historical romances, but I loved this book!! The first book in the series was great and this one is even better. Alpha male hero, great romance story and writing - I will definitely read any books by this author (contemporary or historical) and can't wait for the next one!
This book kept me on my toes and begging for more! I love the characters and their flaws. Feels so honest and real.
Get caught up in this book and enjoy a great store with some steamy romance and a truth that we all are a bit damaged. The Mountain Man and the Barracuda are so beautifully developed throughout the story. You get to know them and want them to overcome all odds. I wanted to go out and trek in the woods with them, have dinner in Adalines, or sit in the bleachers for the Friday night football game. I can't wait for the next installment.
I really enjoyed the first book of this Series, "Slow and Steady and Rush." I was looking forward to the 2nd book and it did not disappoint. I enjoyed the story of Logan and Jessica even more than Darcy and Dalton. Their chemistry from the first chapter was fantastic. I was excited to see how their relationship evolved and loved how Jessica came into her own person. I read this book in two days, as I had to see how their story would unfold. Now I am ready for the third book.....bring on the story of Lilliana and Alec.
I am not normally a romance reader but this series caught my eye. I loved the first book, Slow and Steady Rush, so I couldn't wait for this one. Very pleasantly surprised that the subject was Logan Wilde in this book but we still get some insight as to how Darcy is doing. But, this story does stand on its own as well. Can't say enough about this series! You won't be disappointed. Great characters with a really good story and super hot love scenes.
I'm loving this series! I'm really not much of a small town contemporary romance fan, but this author is changing my mind fast. I just pre-ordered the 3rd book. I like the way the author develops the conflict on so many levels. Great story!
If you are looking for a book that makes you feel like you know the characters and their town, then this book is for you! Jessica and Logan are such a good couple and you will cheer for them throughout this book. What I also like is that it is a continuation series so you glimpses of the characters from the first book. And, the small town feel with the football references make the book seem familiar. I love this author and can't wait to read more books from her!
